Distinguished Programs

ACE
The ACE program at Bear Creek High School is a year-long, alternative program that offers extra support and structure to students so they can graduate from high school on time.

The program places special emphasis on career readiness and planning, financial education and literacy; it also has a credit recovery component. In addition, students procure and maintain employment outside of school to earn credit. The program is limited to 16 students per year.

Students explore the roles of biomedical professionals as they study the concepts of human medicine, physiology, microbiology, genetics and public health. They will examine the structures and interactions of human body systems; explore the prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of disease; while working collaboratively to understand and design solutions to the most pressing health challenges of today and the future.
