BCHS moon

Bear Creek High School is a comprehensive high school located in Lakewood, Colorado. Nestled along the foothills of the Rocky Mountains, BCHS is approximately 12 miles southwest of Denver.  BCHS is one of eighteen high schools in the Jefferson County R-1 School District.  In 2016, we were awarded the Colorado Governor's Distinguished Improvement Award for schools that exceed expectations for academic growth.  We are a silver medal school in US News and World Report's Top 50 High Schools in Colorado
 and we rank among the Washington Post's Most Challenging High Schools.
