General Information
Cap & Gown – Caps & Gowns will be distributed after rehearsal on 5/17 after all fines and fees are cleared. Caps & Gowns can be ordered through Jostens at (303) 470-5136

Ceremony Expectations

  • Graduation is not meant to be a party.  It’s a celebration.
  • Dress appropriately.
  • Be respectful to all graduates and attendees.
  • Please refrain from using noisemakers during the ceremony.

Diplomas – Diplomas will be presented after the graduate exits the stage. Legal names are printed on diplomas and read at graduation.

Fines & Fees – All fines and fees must be cleared and books returned in order to pick up cap and gown at the rehearsal. Contact Gina Shellhorn at (303) 982-8860 with finance questions.


  • Reserved seating will be available (rows 1-8).  Space is limited, we ask that only one additional person per family sit in the designated area. No tickets will be issued for this area.
  • Row 1 is reserved for WHEELCHAIRS ONLY.
  • Shuttle buses will be available from the upper South lot for handicap, elderly, and disabled only.  All others are expected to walk.
  • You do not need to contact the school if you plan to utilize the shuttle or reserved seating.

Parking – Red Rocks charges $10 per car.  The parking lot can get congested and the walk is tough.  Arrive early.

Tickets – Tickets are not needed for graduation.  Seating is on a first come, first served basis.

Weather – If it rains, we get wet.  Please come prepared with an umbrella. The weather would have to be very severe in order for us to move the ceremony to the gym.  If this occurs, please check the Bear Creek website for updates.

      1.0 credit World History
Mathematics--3.0 credits

      1.0 credit of Algebra I or higher
      1.0 credit of Geometry or higher
Science--3.0 credits (2 lab-based)
PE--05 credit
CTE or Fine Arts--0.5 credit
Electives--8.5 credits

Total 23 credits

Students wishing to prepare for college will need to add additional classes and a world language.
American Government--0.5 credit 
Economics--0.5 credit 
World Language--1.0 credit 
Academic Electives--2.0 credits
