Graduation Information

**Reminder** - Caps and Gowns will NOT be distributed to students unless all of their Fees and Fines have been taken care of. On the day of Graduation Rehearsal, our Financial Secretary will be busy working with students and families and her ability to answer the phone will be limited. Please DO NOT WAIT to take care of this until the day of Graduation Rehearsal.

If you would like to view and/or pay your students' fines and fees, please do so by going to Infinite Campus Parent Portal. Verify your student is listed and then click the green arrow to be taken to a screen to pay.

Ceremony Expectations

  • Graduation is not meant to be a party; it is a celebration.
  • Please dress appropriately.
  • Please be respectful to all graduates and attendees.
  • Please refrain from using noisemakers during the ceremony.

Diplomas
Diplomas will be presented after the graduate exits the stage. Legal names are printed on diplomas and read at graduation.

Fines & Fees
All fines and fees must be cleared and books/materials returned in order to pick up cap and gown after graduation rehearsal. Fines and fees can be paid on Infinite Campus Parent Portal. Please contact Gina Shellhorn at (303) 982-8860 with finance questions.

Handicap/Elderly/Disabled

  • Reserved seating will be available (rows 1-8).  Space is limited, we ask that only one additional person per family sit in the designated area. No tickets will be issued for this area.

  • Row 1 is reserved for WHEELCHAIRS ONLY.

  • Shuttle buses will be available from the upper South lot for handicap, elderly, and disabled only.  All others are expected to walk.

  • You do not need to contact the school if you plan to utilize the shuttle or reserved seating.

RED ROCKS PARKING MAP

Parking
Red Rocks charges $10 per car.  The parking lot can get congested and the walk is tough.  Please plan accordingly and plan to arrive early.

Photos
Photos can be purchased from Grad Images, 1-800-628-4509 or gradimages.com.

Tickets
Currently, each family is allowed up to 8 seats for graduation (due to COVID restrictions). We are not going to be physically giving 8 tickets* to each family, we simply ask that they respect this limit and bring 8 guests or less.

*At cap and gown distribution, we will still be issuing 4 physical tickets to each student. This is really meant as a failsafe so that on the off chance that COVID rates spiked and we had to once again limit attendance, each family would have their 4 tickets. Again, we don't anticipate this happening, we just want to be prepared.

Video
We work with a 3rd party vendor to live-stream Graduation on our BCHS Facebook Page. We also have a recorded copy of Graduation available the day after graduation on the Senior Page.

Weather
If it rains, we get wet.  Please come prepared with an umbrella. The weather would have to be very severe in order for us to move the ceremony to the gym.  If this occurs, please check the Bear Creek website for updates.
