Graduation Ceremony
Thursday, May 20th, 2021 - 9:00am at Red Rocks Amphitheater (Map and Handicapped Access)
Graduates must report no later than 8:00am at the top of Red Rocks Amphitheater.

**We are working closely with Jefferson County Public Health and Jeffco Public Schools. As of February 1st, 2021, we are anticipating being able to use Red Rocks for Graduation but we do not have an official confirmation.

If we are cleared to hold graduation at Red Rocks, there will likely be guidelines regarding guests and attendees. We do not have any specific guidance yet.

Please note that all information below, related to graduation is based on a "normal" school year and may need to be modified this year. As of now, we have no official update but we will get information out to students and families as soon as we are able.**

General Information
Cap & Gown – Caps & Gowns will be distributed this spring; we are working with Jostens on a plan for doing so safely and will have more information available as soon as possible. Caps & Gowns can be ordered through Jostens at (303) 470-5136 or by visiting

Ceremony Expectations

  • Graduation is not meant to be a party; it is a celebration.
  • Please dress appropriately.
  • Please be respectful to all graduates and attendees.
  • Please refrain from using noisemakers during the ceremony.

Diplomas will be presented after the graduate exits the stage. Legal names are printed on diplomas and read at graduation.

Fines & Fees
All fines and fees must be cleared and books/materials returned in order to pick up cap and gown after graduation rehearsal. Fines and fees can be paid on Jeffco Connect. Please contact Gina Shellhorn at (303) 982-8860 with finance questions.

  • Reserved seating will be available (rows 1-8).  Space is limited, we ask that only one additional person per family sit in the designated area. No tickets will be issued for this area.

  • Row 1 is reserved for WHEELCHAIRS ONLY.

  • Shuttle buses will be available from the upper South lot for handicap, elderly, and disabled only.  All others are expected to walk.

  • You do not need to contact the school if you plan to utilize the shuttle or reserved seating.

Red Rocks charges $10 per car.  The parking lot can get congested and the walk is tough.  Please plan accordingly and plan to arrive early.

Currently, each family is allowed up to 8 seats for graduation (due to COVID restrictions). We are not going to be physically giving 8 tickets* to each family, we simply ask that they respect this limit and bring 8 guests or less.

*At cap and gown distribution, we will still be issuing 4 physical tickets to each student. This is really meant as a failsafe so that on the off chance that COVID rates spiked and we had to once again limit attendance, each family would have their 4 tickets. Again, we don't anticipate this happening, we just want to be prepared.

If it rains, we get wet.  Please come prepared with an umbrella. The weather would have to be very severe in order for us to move the ceremony to the gym.  If this occurs, please check the Bear Creek website for updates.
